The ultimate mission of this project is to watch every single film that has been nominated for Academy Award.
This, however, is quite a lofty goal. The number of films nominated ranges in the thousands. I will instead be focusing on a series of short-term goals, taking the Academy history year by year. I am unsure of how long such a goal will take, but hopefully the end will be reached eventually.
The blog element of this project is to document having seen every film, as well as share with everyone else my passion and love of film history. If you feel compelled to follow along with some of the films that I am visiting (or re-visiting) by also watching them, I cannot encourage you enough. Or if any of my entries happens to spark an interest in a particular film, then I hope that you would do yourself the favor by checking it out.
